A jewellery store in Pretoria Hatfield across berea street was gunned down on Tuesday Afternoon . According to the eyewitness , three armed suspects entered the store at approximately 3 PM, brandishing firearms and demanding valuable items from terrified staff and customers.


Police spokesperson  Mjolisi Ngobeni confirmed that the robbers were able to escape with a substantial amount of jewelry. "We have launched a manhunt for the suspects and are following up on several leads," Ngobeni stated during a press conference.The occurrence has generated significant concern within the community, with many individuals expressing fears regarding their safety. 


"I was in the store just moments before it happened."It's frightening to consider that an incident like this could happen in our own community," stated Nontsikelelo. Local business owners are also on heightened alert, reassessing their safety protocols following the robbery.There has been a notable rise in armed robberies in Pretoria recently. Community leaders are calling for more police presence and better security measures.


Officials are urging anyone who has information about the robbery to contact the Pretoria Central Police Station. A reward is being offered for information that leads to the apprehension of the suspects. 


As the investigation progresses, the community feels uneasy and hopes for a swift resolution, wanting those responsible to be held accountable.
